Framing & Drywall

Steel and wood framing, drywall installation, finishing levels 1–5, soffits and ceilings.

Interior under construction with steel stud framing and taped drywall — AI visualization

Framing and drywall are the foundation of every clean interior. Straight walls, true corners and properly finished joints determine how well every subsequent finish performs.

We install partitions, soffits, bulkheads, ceilings and niches, and finish drywall to the level the final surface requires — including Level 5 for critical lighting and decorative finishes.

Typical applications

  • —New interior partitions
  • —Soffits, coves and bulkheads for lighting
  • —Ceiling installation and repair
  • —Recessed niches and feature walls
  • —Drywall repair after plumbing or electrical work

Materials & techniques

  • —Light-gauge steel studs and track
  • —Standard, moisture-resistant and fire-rated gypsum board
  • —Cement board for wet areas
  • —Paper and mesh joint tapes
  • —Setting-type and ready-mix compounds

Project process

  1. 1Consultation and site visit to understand scope, conditions and goals.
  2. 2Measurements, documentation of existing conditions and scope definition.
  3. 3Written estimate with line-item scope, exclusions and assumptions.
  4. 4Scheduling, material selection and procurement.
  5. 5Execution with protected work areas and regular progress updates.
  6. 6Final walkthrough, punch list and close-out.

Factors affecting cost

  • —Linear footage of walls and ceiling area
  • —Finish level required (Level 3 vs Level 5)
  • —Ceiling height and access
  • —Curves, soffits and detailed geometry
  • —Board type (fire-rated, moisture-resistant)

Frequently asked questions

What is a Level 5 drywall finish?+

Level 5 adds a skim coat over the entire surface after taping and finishing. It is recommended under critical lighting, glossy paints and many decorative finishes because it reduces visible texture differences.

Steel or wood framing?+

Steel studs are common in South Florida condominiums and commercial spaces; they are dimensionally stable and non-combustible. Wood is common in some residential applications. Building type and code drive the choice.
